How To Master Outdoor Chic
When the balmy days of a golden October have disappeared and the air temperature seems to have dropped through the floor, Yes, it’s very tempting to hide yourself under layers of duvet-style warmth.
Sleeping bag-style has never really lasted the course.
And it doesn’t do much for your Personal brand.
With the advances made in fabric technology however, it IS possible to look chic,
feel comfortable and stay warm.
3 outfits that demonstrate Outdoor Chic.
For the first outfit, I’ve used a colour palette of grey & tan, highlighted with a gorgeous creamy knit.
It’s a grown-up city look featuring high-rise grey wool flannel straight-legged trousers, teamed
with a chunky knit to slip under a butter soft easy fit leather jacket.
Just add warm boots and accessories.
CWC style tip: Mix up textures such as smooth leather with a chunky knit for a modern take on Winter warmth.
Tan leather jacket, Baukjen
High neck wool knit, Joseph
Grey wool flannel trousers, Joseph
Suede and leather ankle boots, See by Chloé
The second colour palette leads with black accented by Winter red.
This is a strong look but is softened by the ribbed structure of the dress and soft suede ankle boots.
Striped sweater dress, Free People
Red coat, Weekend Max Mara
Red leather bag, Tory Burch
The third palette uses a popular colour duo of navy and pink.
I’ve mixed silk with alpaca over a pair of wide-legged sport luxe trousers.
Alpaca wool blend pink coat, Weekend Max Mara
High waisted navy sport luxe trousers, Jigsaw
Pale pink silk top, Weekend Max Mara
Oxblood suede ankle boots, Coach
